Delta Gamma

Philanthropy Events

Since 1936, Service for Sight has been the heart of Delta Gamma's philanthropic mission. Each year, Delta Gammas give more than 120,000 service hours hoping to help and touch the lives of others. To honor our national philanthropy, DGs perform weekly service at local senior home, Gracedale Nursing Home. At Gracedale, our members partake in communal activities that include singing, playing games, or simply having a nice chat. Everyone has a great time!

In addition to our community service, our chapter donates funds to programs that aid those who suffer from blindness or visual impairments. We work hard to raise money for our national philanthropy, Service for Sight, in new and innovative ways through our Anchor Bowl flag-football tournament and Do Good Week in the fall, and Serve it for Sight pickleball tournament in the spring. The Epsilon Xi chapter is proud of our efforts to continuously push our membership to exceed fundraising and service commitment goals.
